You can equip your Ford F-150 with a truck bed of 5.5 feet, 6.5 feet, or 8 feet in length; however, the range of available 2021 F-150 bed sizes will vary depending on the cabin that you select. We’ve covered the available bed sizes for each Ford F-150 configuration below, so you can choose the model that feels just right for your needs.

2021 F-150 Bed Sizes by Cab

The 2021 Ford F-150 is available with three different cabins:

  • The Ford F-150 Regular Cab has a three-passenger capacity.
  • The Ford F-150 SuperCrew and SuperCab models can both seat five or six.
  • The Ford F-150 SuperCrew has larger, more accommodating entry spaces than the SuperCab. However, the SuperCab and the SuperCrew offer different beds.

Now that you’ve got the basics down, check out the available bed sizes for each Ford F-150 build:

  • Ford F-150 Regular Cab Bed Sizes: 6.5-foot Box or 8-foot Box
  • Ford F-150 SuperCab Bed Sizes: 6.5-foot Box or 8-foot Box
  • Ford F-150 SuperCrew Bed Sizes: 5.5-foot Box or 6.5-foot Box

Still not sure if the F-150 is the right pickup for your Milwaukee and Waukesha job sites? Compare it to the RAM 1500 or the Chevy Silverado 1500 today. Our team has hands-on experience with all three models, so we’re ideally positioned to help you make a decision.

2021 Ford F-150 Truck Bed Size Dimensions

The Ford F-150 bed sizes are denoted by length, but length alone won’t tell you everything you need to know. Although all Ford F-150 bed sizes have the same width and height, your total volume will vary:

5.5-Foot Box

  • Cargo Box Volume: 52.8 cubic feet
  • Length: 67.1 inches
  • Width: 50.6 inches
  • Height: 21.4 inches

6.5-Foot Box

  • Cargo Box Volume: 62.3 cubic feet
  • Length: 78.9 inches
  • Width: 50.6 inches
  • Height: 21.4 inches

8-Foot Box

  • Cargo Box Volume: 77.3 cubic feet
  • Length: 97.6 inches
  • Width: 50.6 inches
  • Height: 21.4 inches

For everything you can’t fit in the F-150 truck bed, you’ll need to hook up a trailer. Of course, the 2021 F-150’s towing capacity is at least as impressive as its cargo area.

Ford F-150 Truck Bed Features

Every Ford F-150 bed is made with high-strength, military-grade, aluminum alloy. Although your payload capacity will vary from model to model, very few light-duty pickup trucks can compete with the upper limit of 3,270 pounds. What’s more, the Ford F-150 combines raw power and capability with a clever design and many innovative features. Here are just a few of the highlights:

  • Pro Power Onboard, allowing you to use your truck like a mobile generator
  • Selectable zone lighting
  • Flexible, configurable BoxLink™ system
  • LED box lights
  • Stowable loading ramps
  • Integrated tailgate step with lift assist
  • Remote tailgate release
  • Deployable box side steps
